Walking Tennis is a recent variation of the game designed to be slower, gentler, and more accessible — perfect if you’d like to keep playing without the full-on pace of traditional tennis.
The rules are simple:
- You walk, rather than run to the ball.
- The ball can bounce twice before you hit it.
- Lighter equipment and smaller courts are often used.
It’s still great fun, offers plenty of exercise, and is a brilliant way to enjoy tennis in a relaxed, social setting.
Whether you’ve played tennis before or just fancy trying something new, come along and give Walking Tennis a go!
